Sixth Pay Commission – Revised Pay Scales, New Pay Bands decided by Government
After the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission, here is list of the final New Pay bands of the Sixth Pay Commission, as listed in the official report of the Sixth Pay Commission. The government has finally taken a decision on the Final New Pay Bands & below is the table showing an indicative details of how much the salaries have changed or increased.

I was promoted after passing departmental confirmatory exam to Sr.Acctt.(Rs.5500-175-9000) from Acctt.(4500-125-7000) on 01.04.2007 after getting two increments from March 2003. How will my pay be fixed and what will myarrear be?

I aws in Pay Scale 12000-375-16500.(S-21) My BP was 16750 on 01.01.06. with incremwnt date on March. I was promoted to Pay scale 14300-400-18300(S-24) on Feb 07 and my pay was fixed at 16700. There is a change from PB3 to PB 4. Can I opt to continue in old scale till my promotion. I have retired on 31.01.08.What will be my best option for fixation.considering arrrea that i will receivegratuity/leave salary/commutation as well as pension

I AM IN 4000- 10025 AND MY BASI PAY AS ON 1/01/2006 IS 4900 /. MY INCREMENT MONTH IS DECEMBER & INCREMENT RATE IS 150/. i am live in quarter I PROMOTED DEC-2006 IN 5000-12500 SCALE . after reaching 13,900 basic . my annual incriment become byannual. my house was 760/-at the time of retirment

As on 1.1.2006 I was in the pay scale S24 with the basic pay of 14,300/-. I have been in this SO/F scale from 1.8.2005, the day I have officiated my SO/F grade. As per the option I have been given next inecrment on 1.2.2006 ie., 14,300+400 = 14,700/-. As per the 6th pay commission this scale belongs to PB4 band. So as on 1.1.2006 my pay should have been fixed at 37,400+8,700= 46,100/-.
Instead my pay has been fixed at gross pay of 34510/- which does not correspond to PB4 in the new 6th pay commission. This I feel is a blatant error.
I therefore request you to kindly provide correct implementation as on 1.1.2006 I will be on PB4 band or not.
