TNPSC 2009 Eligibility, Entrance Exam Dates, Exam Pattern

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) was setup in the year 1923. Since then, it has been 75 years and it has been conducting examination for various courses. This exam now is being conducted for the post called Horticultural Officer.

Eligibility criteria :
• The maximum age limit of the candidate is 30years.
• The candidates possessing Post-graduate degree have the maximum age limit as 32 years.
• The SC/ST candidates have no age limit. They are free to apply at any age.

Important Dates :
Availability of application forms : 3rd week of September
Last for the submission of completed application forms: 3rd week of October
Date of commencement of exam : 21st Dec, 2008
Time of exam : 10AM – 1PM

Examination Pattern :
• The examination will be conducted in two parts.
• The first part will be Written exam of 300 marks and the second part will be Oral of 40 marks.
• The total duration of the test will be of 3 hours.
