NIFT 2009 Entrace Exam Dates, Eligibility, Admission Test
National Institute of Fashion Technology(NIFT): Applications are invited for Entrance Examination for academic year 2008-09 for the admission to the following courses: The admission will be based on the performance in the qualifying Entrance Exam.
Courses:
1. Bachelor Programmes – Design : B.Des. (Fashion Design / Leather Design / Accessory Design / Textile Design / Knitwear Design / Fashion Communication)
2. Bachelor Programme – Technology: B.FTech. (Apparel Production)
3. Master Programme – Design: M.Des. (Master of Design)
4. Master Programme – Management: M.F.M. (Master of Fashion Management)
5. Master Programme – Technology: M.FTech. (Master of Fashion Technology)
Important Dates:
Application Form Available : 24th November to 31st December, 2008 Last date of Submission of Application Form : 7th January, 2009 Written Entrance Examination : 8th February, 2009 Declaration of Written Examination : Mid March, 2009 Result Situation Test / GD / Interviews : April - May, 2009 Declaration of Final Results : End of May, 2009

IMPORTANT:
The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria for admission to the examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination for which they are admitted by NIFT viz. Written Test, Situation Test, Group Discussion and Interview (as the case may be) will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If on verification at any time before or after the Written Test, Situation Test, Group Discussion and Interview (as the case may be), It is fond that candidate does not fulfill any eligibility criteria, his / her candidature for the examination shall stand cancelled without any notice or further reference.
