Tezpur University 2009 MBA Ph.D Entrance Exam Date, Eligibility

Tezpur University was established in the year 1994 and is situated in the state of assam. The aim of the university is to provide employment oriented courses to the students. Tezpur University will be conducting selection procedure for the admission into various post graduate courses. The selection of the candidate is dependent on the performance in MAT examination and the interviews.

• 2-Year MBA Programme (full time)
• Ph.D

Eligibility criteria:

For MBA:
• Bachelor’s degree in any stream with atleast 50% marks

For Ph.D.:
• The candidate must have a Master’s Degree in Humanities and Social Science/Management Science/ Science/ Engineering /Technology with atleast 50% marks.
• B.E/B.Tech candidates can also apply only if they have atleast 80% marks.
• Candidates having a fellowship in Chartered Accountancy/ Company Secretaryship with a bachelor’s degree and 60% marks can also apply.

For 2-Year MBA Programme (full time):
• November 03, 2008 to December 15, 2008 — Issue of T.U. prospectus & Application Form
• December 15, 2008 — Last Date of issue and submission of form
• January 15, 2009 — Last date of issue and receipt of forms with late fine of Rs.200/-
• December 07, 2008 — MAT Examination
• February 20 & 21, 2009 — Group Discussion & Personal Interview
• February 27, 2009 — Declaration of Selected

For Ph.D.:
• Issue of prospectus — November 03, 2008 to December 15, 2008
• Last date of submission of application form — December 15, 2008
• Schedule of selection test — December 22 & 23, 2008
• Schedule of Admission — January 19 & 20, 2009 (10 AM to 3 PM)
