It is located in Bangalore, the Electronic City abd Silicon Valley of India. At first the institute started to offer courses on Engineering in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and Electronics and Communication. The BIT has always been a premier institute of technology studies.

Post Graduate: The candidates should have cleared Undergraduate degree in BE/B.Tech from a recognized University.

Master of Business Administration : The candidates should be Graduate from any field in any recognized University.
Admission Procedure:

Undergraduate: Admission procedure for the program is based on the Common Entrance Test / Aptitude Test and the performance of the candidate in this test.

Entrance Test: Karnataka CET

Post Graduate: The admission is done on the basis of GATE score of the candidates.

Master of Business Administration: Entrance Examination is held for the admission in this course.
